Spinning Classes

Great fun for all levels of skill and fitness! This class gives you a great cardio workout along with motivating music. The instructor will cue you to change your speed and resistance on the bike while giving you mental images of terrain to enhance your workout. Make sure you bring your water bottle and don’t be afraid to sweat!

Interested in cycling but heard it's "really tough"? Ask about our free introductory session to help you feel more comfortable before attending class.

Spinning Schedule (1 hour classes)

Begin Spin

Build a strong foundation in spinning by learning correct techniques. Classes run from 10:00am to 10:45am on Saturday mornings. Spinning presents a motivating group environment and music that begs your legs to pedal! Have a blast while you ride yourself to your fitness goals. Take each class at your own pace. There are no complicated moves to learn. Stop by and ask the fitness staff any questions you might have and to sign up or call 482-8201.

Spinning Policies

Reservations: Members of Aspirus Keweenaw Fitness Center who have a class clipcard may reserve a class one week in advance. Non-members with a class clipcard and all single classes may be reserved 48 hours in advance. Classes held on a sign-up basis.

Arrive early: It is strongly recommended that you arrive 10 minutes early to check in, make bike adjustments and fill you water bottle.

Late arrivals: Please be on time for class. This is crucial due to the high class demand. Once class starts, the instructor has the right to give an empty bike to the first available walk-in.

Cancellations: If you cancel your reservations within less than 24 hours, you will be billed at the single class rate unless we fill your spot. Aspirus Keweenaw Fitness Center reserves the right to cancel any class due to lack of participation.

Rowing Classes

Excellent total body fitness. Non-impact fun for all ages, sizes and shapes. See training staff for learn to row instruction prior to joining class and then join the Meter Madness!

A.C.E. for kids

Discover the Athlete within...

Athletic, Conditioning, Exercise (ACE) programs offer a wide variety of fitness programs for youth, ages 6th grade through 12th grade.

Fitness is an important part of a health lifestyle -- that's why we developed the A.C.E. program. Athletes and non-athletes are able to join in and shape up while having fun creating a life-long commitment to fitness. The A.C.E. program also offers specific programs like Basketball Camp and Plyometrics Training.

We work hard and have plenty of fun! Students will participate in cardiovascular exercise, stretching, athletic training and strength training. We also have music, games and end-of-term pizza parties.

A.C.E. students will be able to improve their fitness at their own pace and ability. All sizes, shapes and levels will find a place in A.C.E.
